The revised version includes new findings on measurement techniques and prevention trategies. It also provides a clear and easy to understand flow chart for risk assessment in the workplace, where the user gets guidance for action.
In addition, the brochure insists on process changes to avoid exposures (powdery, dusty materials can be used as dispersions, pastes or bound compounds). For activities that cannot be carried out in closed systems, the guide recommends additional organizational and personal protection measures, and appropriate staff training.
